Nearing the top of a mountain, the only passage left is an old abandoned lift, fittingly named scrap heap. Keep the elevator health, but over all else keep your self safe. The elevator has been here long before you and will be long after.

almost all the art was created this week for the jam, but the notable exceptions were the fire animation, the player hit flash, and the shadow effect I draw for the edges where the floor meets the wall. I wanted to write more songs, but its really hard to fit all the art, animations, and coding by myself. I was noodling around on the piano Saturday and decided to put that in as an intro and ending song. I hope you guys like it :)

GLITCHES:

right now the biggest glitch I didn't solve was an issue with items stacking and results in one item disappearing. for now the wrench is the only one that will respawn, but hopefully with the checkpoint system, if you die all items will be reset.

I saw there were some performance issues, maybe starting in wave 3, I'm not sure what causes it.  I'm bummed it showed up because all week I had smooth frames and in the last few hours I ran into trouble with something. Hopefully its still playable!

WASD to move

F to drop current item

WRENCH:

EXTINGUISHER:

Left click to pour, Right Click to throw (if still under it, you can catch it again)

Cool love it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Great art!!!

came from your youtube! i think this could be a legendary two-player coop game, if you ever decide to revisit it. throwing items across the level to/at each other sounds like a blast and the element of human interaction would probably make the game both more manageable and more hectic at the same time

(also it would be sick if you could deflect the flying cogs using the wrench)

yeah that would be super cool, I was originally inspired by overcooked so that makes a lot of sense! also totally agree about the wrench

great game really but there is a bug, but its not that bad if I'm next to the wall and have a fire extinguisher and pick up the bucket it doesn't drop the fire extinguisher

Picked up the fire extinguisher, read the wall, picked up the wrench, didn't drop the fire extinguisher. Upon then picking up the bucket it dropped the wrench but the fire extinguisher was gone.

No way to restart once this happened without restarting whole game :(

hmm strange bug, dying restarts the current level, sorry about that. Definitely interested to know if you recreate it, I tried but nothing so far :/

I tried playing through again and while it didn't happen immediately, after a few times of picking up wrench and fire extinguisher it happened again.
Haven't found what the exact needed sequence of events is, if there is some timing to it or something. Will test again later and see if I can recreate it again

I realize I didn't fully explain in my first post, this happened after entering through the door to the main room

After playing about just picking up each of the times, throwing the wrench around and flying into the wrench while using the fire extinguisher, it picked up the wrench but didn't drop the extinguisher.
No errors were printer into the console, still haven't found a reliable reproduction unfortunately

After a bit more picking up and dropping of items, it happened with the bucket and wrench too
