The bugs with the platforms where a bit annoying, but the level design made up for it. I never found the Easter egg, I think you just have to go to lvl 1 with all of the abilities, when you beat the game, so you can clear the big gap, but I never figured out how to go back to level 1 XD
thank you! Yeah you can ride the elevators back down, and there’s even a secret message in level 1 if you super jump to it. Thanks for playing, I really appreciate it :)
I enjoy playing this game and keep working on the game I'd love to see this on Switch, or Xbox or ANYTHING to see it on a platform like Steam and this PLEASE WORK ON IT MORE
You clever dude; here I thought I found Bemmy's "Truer Chill Place," but rewarding all the same lol
Also, I saw someone post about not liking the directional changes that occurred mid-platforming, and I gotta say I respectfully disagree. I really liked the added challenge that came with that, and found the flow you gotta hit more fun and rewarding, personally.
I also found the general layouts of the levels very intuitive; super well done!
I actually just started a patreon, for 5$ it’s all the code and art /animations from every game jam. It also super helps support the YouTube channel. No pressure though! Just thought I would let you know :)
Great art and aesthetic! I think the music turned out great, especially under the tight time constraints. My biggest gripe is that a lot of checkpoints are placed before moving platforms that aren't necessarily difficult but take time to cycle which adds on a few seconds before each attempt at the next platforming challenge. Amazing game overall!
this game is one of the best games atmospherically speaking that i have played in a while.
my only real issues with the game is that in some of the parts the moving platforms can desync making it a bit inconsistant. but the fact that the only bad thing i could find about this is a minor issue like that speaks miles for this game
Very charming game! Came here from Youtube. By the time I reached the third level, I realized the platforming has a "rhythm game" feel to it. The control took sometime getting used to, and having several checkpoints really helped motivate me to keep going. Personally, the things that bothered me a bit were (1) the sliding on the character movement and (2) difficulty aligning the character's "true position" with the small white jumping pads. (3) It's also challenging to change directions in the high speed sections. But overall, I really enjoyed the gameplay nonetheless, the music and aesthetics complement each other well, and I would love to see this game on Steam with a bit of balance adjustments. Thank you for making and sharing this <3
Also came from Youtube, and I agree with alby-rei, really cool game! but the jump pads definitely need a little tweaking. For example the part near the end of the second level, when you run down a disappearing platform then do 3 platforms in a row, then one up, then one down, it took me a while to get the positioning right cause it felt like I couldn't really move too much in between the pads. I would also really like to see this on steam, if you fix some of the issues and add some more levels I would definitely buy it. Overall, great job! awesome game concept! would love to see more!
I love the concept and it plays really well but there are some times where it feels like the game simply expects me to know what to do five or six jumps ahead of where a path starts. I'd recommend havine a little more margin for error, especially with the bounce lights.
yeah that’s good advice! I think the fast stuff is fun, but just making it less directions would help. Level design is a whole separate beast, but it’s fun to learn
I would suggest to make the player's movement instant and not having a physics, to avoid the "sliding" effect. It could be better for a platformer in which requires precise inputs.
I'm not sure how to do it in Godot, but in Unity there's GetAxisRaw function so the input will be either -1, 0, or 1, but not inbetween. I'm sure there's an equivalent on Godot.
hmm I feel like very good platformers have acceleration time and friction(slow down time) I can tighten those stats up, but I disagree in turning them off.
To each of our own! Maybe it's a better idea not to completely turn the acceleration off. But I imagine too much acceleration reminds me of Sonic 3D Blast haha
AHH, that's so unfortunate to hear, I'm not sure if I can right now because the game jam is still going? I feel like I should be able to, but the edit page says uploads are currently disabled :( After today the jam ends and I can, going forward I definitely will do both
Awesome game! I don't normally enjoy platformers and struggle through them but I was able to finish this one. Some of the jumps were hard but I thought the mechanics were well introduced and ramped up in difficulty. Love the background music!

The controls are bit stiff, but super atmospheric and chill. Awesome game.
any suggestions about addressing “stiffness”?

Gorgeous pixel art, I love the way mechanics are introduced, and the whimsy of the game. Well done, and well polished!
Thank you so much!
Love the way this feels! I can't believe you made this in a week. Great job friend!
Great job! I'm terrible at platformers but stuck it out and enjoyed completing it! Look and feel was good! You can find my submission here: https://itch.io/jam/godot-wild-jam-61/rate/2267663
